Ganesha is seen as the god of wisdom, the bringer of good luck and the remover of obstacles. At the beginning of every journey or big task, Ganesha is called upon the first.
This Ganesha dances from his left foot to his right foot. The swaying motion seems entertaining by his heavy figure, but actually has a deeper meaning. His huge belly symbolises the universe.
